Just checked and 2.5+ is NOT distributed via ComfortUpdate in my installation. It is not even offered as unstable as before.

Downloaded newest build 160206 - deleted everything in my environment, installed fresh.
deleted Cache and Cookies.

Same problems as mentioned above:
- still no visible Login Screen in Admin Section
- after blind login the "Save" Buttons aren't working

This is weird, because I installed yesterday and so far it is running fine.

So I would guess it must have to do something with your server configuration (I will assume that you have tried with different browser and the result was the same):

Where do you install Limesurvey? Shared hosting, VPS, own server?

Which webserver? Which PHP version? Which MySQL version?

My thoughts exactly it's weird ... I can't find a reason why this isn't working. I can see the sourcecode, I'm not missing any files (as far as I can say)

I'm using a hosted Server from our Service Provider.
as far as I can see the server is running Apache2, PHP 5.3.3-7, MySQL 5.1.73

I don't get errors during installation. LimeSurvey 2.06 is running fine.
Can'T find anything in the Debuggers.

Clicking the "Save" button just appends a "#" at the end of the URL - but nothing else is happening, like the JS is missing ...
Fun thing is: Other buttons are working ... "Cancel", "New Survey".
Error.log isn't helping either.

I have the same problem with the blank sites with version 2.50+

What I noticed: It just occures with my SLES 12 SP3 VM. I've tried Linux Mint 17.3 as well, no problem there.

Not working (but working with 2.06+):
SLES 11 SP3, Apache/2.2.12 (Linux/SUSE), PHP Version 5.3.17, mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.5.46

Working:
Linux Mint 17.3, Apache/2.4.7 (Ubuntu), PHP Version 5.5.9-1ubuntu4.14, mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.5.47

Same error occurs on my machine. Started with 2.5 RC4 and updated now to 2.5 build 20160206. Working well on my local VM with a newer PHP, doesn't work on my productive machine with PHP 5.3.x.

I watched the debug trace, but haven't seen an error. For me it sounds like a mime/type or anything else go wrong. All files are in the client browser, but the css paint doesn't appear.

Remind to set manual.limesurvey.org/Debug_mode to 2, save the result if see an error (only the page) and sent it to mantis.

Really more quick.

I set up a fresh VS Ubuntu-Server 14.something, with std LAMP-packages.
Installed LS2.50+ - and it seems to be working fine.
I have to talk to our provider, maybe we need a few updates. Apache, MySQL, PHP ... whatever.
(Although installation routine say's everythings fine ...)

I had the same problem with the blank login page.
Changing the PHP version from 5.3 to 5.5 solved it.

Same problem for me running on Scientific Linux 6.7. Have just tried it on Scientific Linux 7.2 and it works fine. The former has PHP 5.3.3 and Apache 2.2.15, and the latter has PHP 5.4.16 and Apache 2.4.6.

Just more troubleshooting data points here:

- Fresh install
- Got database connect error on running install... knocked PHP down to 5.3 on hosting, fixed it.
- After installation, login screen blank. However, source HTML is there. Can login using tabbing.
- Re-FTPd all files to make sure nothing missing.
- Same problems. Forms won't save. All font is times new roman. Various links don't work like the Notification icon.

Aside from the obvious, this major update looks great! I'm sure a lot work went into this. Looking forward to trying it out properly.

All blank page issue should be fixed now - can you try the latest build, released today?
