Using Limesurvey without using a website was created by EllenMagermans
Hello!

I have a question. I downloaded LimeSurvey on my Macbook and made a survey. Is it also possible to get a link of the survey which you can just sent out to people so they can participate instead of having to download it and put it on a website? I can only find a link which is only availablefor the local host.
I changed the settings of the survey so that it is open to everyone, but then the survey should be listed at the "available surveys portal". I cannot find this portal. Is it the same as the "survey list"? Only there all my surveys are listed. Not just the ones I made public.

Thank you!

Yes for the moment your surveys exist only on your computer; you need to export & import those surveys to a similar installation...on the web. (you may be interested in limeservice.com )

Yes, the index page listing (publicly available) surveys

Only there all my surveys are listed. Not just the ones I made public.

Seems to be a bug... It will be nice if you can report it at the bug tracker . ;)

I will report it at the bug tracker :)

Probably not a bug. I think you are confusing the public survey list (homepage of your site) with the admin interface survey list.
