Help on SMTP connect() failure

HI All,

Attempting to send out emails from Limesurvey using AuthSMTP fails, and we receive the following error:

Email to xxx failed. Error message: SMTP connect () failed. All Emails were sent.

Does anyone have an idea where or what is causing this error?

We tested the AuthSMTP account, and it works.

Maybe your server don't allow SMTP auth ...

Maybe something other ....

Maybe we don't have a cristal ball ...

Assistance on LimeSurvey forum and LimeSurvey core development are on my free time.
I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH member, professional service on demand (or search sondages pro).
An error happen ? Before make a new topic : remind the Debug mode .

Dear Denis,

Thank you for your thoughts.

Since it worked fine for about a year, I think it may have something to do with the server upgrade that we did some time ago.

In any case, I will make a backup and re-install.

Hopefully that will solve the issue.

The best is to have access at the server log.

And you can try with SMTP debug mode.
