I was just trying to upload a Word file to attach to a survey invitation e-mail, but when I used the uploader it returned an error message: "Denied file extension".

What could be causing this? Is this because Word (.docx) is not allowed as an attachment? Is there a way to change this setting?

Hi

I had the same issue with Powerpoint PPTX extensions

I located a file on the system .../application/config/config-defaults.php

I looked for a known extension then found that PPTX was missing, and simply added it, then restarted apache

This did it for me

Regards

Bad idea : config-defaults are replaced next time you update ,
