Array with dropdown lists was created by sari2108
Hi guys,

Is it possible to create an array with dropdown lists? But I only need one column. I attached an example!

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Do an array (number) with only one X subquestion.

Thanks! But I need a dropdown list with text and not with numbers. Is it possible to change the settings to get such an array?

You can use an array question and use the dropdown question attribute to change the display: docs.limesurvey.org/Question+type+-+Arra...tions+for+LimeSurvey

I don't have the opportunity to select dropdown instead of radio buttons. There is no field for that in the advanced settings. Is that what you meant by your statement. Do I need another release?

Yep,

if you want the select box included in the LimeSurvey core. Actually there are some part of documentation referring to 1.91 version.

See : my post www.limesurvey.org/forum/installation-a-...-lists?lang=en#58332

I need the same thing but every dropdown box has different possible answers.
Any ideas?
I tried the latest RC release but there is no such feature.
Version 1.92 RC3 Build 12204

Hello,

You can manipulate value with javascript.

See some example on workarounds documentation.

Currently you have to either splitt it up into several questions or add all answer options to the list (for Q1, Q2 + Q3) and then use JS to hide the ones which do not apply for the according question. This can be done by using Javascript. You should find some examples at manual -> workarounds.

I suppose single questions.ok.
Is there a way that every single questions is shown within the same row with the dropdown box? One way i think is to edit the template.

What i want is the visual result of the array, not the all-in-one question:
question1 dropdown-box1 ( question type: single choice (List dropdown) )
question2 dropdown-box2 ( question type: single choice (List dropdown) )
question3 dropdown-box3 ( question type: single choice (List dropdown) )
.
.
.

Hello,

Maybe you can use some javascript to have single question.

I think of:
Array | use dropdown
In answer put somethink like this for code:
1CODE1
1CODE2
1CODE3
2CODE1
2CODE2
3CODE3

And after in jquery .remove the option starting with 2 or 3 in the first row, with 1 and 3 in the second row ....

Need some work and time, but you it can make what you want exactly.

Denis
