Hi,

I am having a issue w/the latest upgraded version (4.3.14+) through the Software/Script package (Softaculous).

CDbException
The table "{{templates}}" for active record class "Template" cannot be found in the database.

I only get this error (above) on the admin side after login.

Please help me find a answer with this question.

First one thing: I don't think that LS 4.x is ready for production yet (not stable enough for my taste). I would stick with the latest LS 3.x LTS for now.

Another problem is the installation via Softaculous. It is basically impossible to know what comes from potential modifications Softaculous made and what comes from Limesurvey itself. I personally would never use such a service for installation or updates, because they are a "black box" and you do not know what they do to the software. Installing Limesurvey has become pretty easy over the years and takes very little time. There is a GUI to guide you through the installation process. For updates, I would use ComfortUpdate. Costs something, but generally makes updating a lot quicker and easier. Or, if you do not want to spend the money, you can also do a manual update.

Now to your problem: Do you have access to the MySQL-Database via PHPmyAdmin or something and can check if there is a table called "templates"?

Thank you for that/your reply. Yes, I do have access to the MySQL PhPmyAdmin part.

I only see 2 strings :
1. "survey_template"
2. "survey_template_configuration"

No just "templates" is in there.

Please help me.

I figured it out!

For anyone else experiencing this problem. This skins/templates site gives you information : sondages.pro .

Direct Link to free templates/skins -

extensions.sondages.pro/themes-and-templ...bility/download.html
or
extensions.sondages.pro/themes-and-templ...survey/download.html

Just upload the theme/template/skin to the/your -
/limesurvey-directory/upload/themes/survey *****FOLDER
unzip skelvanilla.zip or skeletonquest-rwd.zip *****FILE.
It will work automatically.

I don't know about that, but noted. Well then, use the other one, the Skelvanilla. That one/It worked for me.

Maybe there are a issue with directory with Softaculous
But I think it might be a packaging error w/the templates directory, when you go to upgrade the full package of lime survey.
