Hiden answer array by column was created by atrevia
Hello community!

I need help to solve a problem that seems to have solution, but I do not get it to work.

I'm using array by column filtered by a previous multiple-answer question. What I want is for the unselected responses not to appear in the array by column.

In the photo that I send, not hide the column that I have not selected in the previous question.
is there a solution to this? How can I do?

Thank you very much for your help!:)

Hm, looks like the example of the plugin "hideEmptyColumns".
In the original example it doesn't work.

And your LS version is...?

BTW: How do you set an array filter in a question of this type (array by column)?

So, is it really necessary to use an "array by columns" instead of a "normal" array?
Are the answer option texts too long, or?

Best regards
Joffm

Indeed it is the example "HideEmptyColumns", but it does not work.

The version LS I have is 2.73.1.

As for array by column filters, there is not even an option in Advanced configuration.
And I use these kind of question (array by column), because the answer options are many (30).

I'm using array by column filtered by a previous multiple-answer question.

How do you do that? As far as I know, there has never been an array-filter available for the array-by-column question type - manual.limesurvey.org/Question_type_-_Array_by_column

Okay that's a reason. And how many options horizontally?

Isn't it possible to split into separate questions, each question asking one of the subquestions?
This way you can use array filter.

You should be able to use sub-question relevance but that does not work for this question type - in my opinion, a bug - bugs.limesurvey.org/view.php?id=13509
