Hi

I have a limesurvey instance that I would like to update. It's on release 2.05. I already updated it a couple weeks ago testwise and it worked like a charme.
Now I wanted to do the same with the productive landscape and it doesn't work anymore. Throwing errors after errors...

Even after creating the table manually, I get some error related to "UniqueNotification".

After that I found the following post: www.limesurvey.org/forum/installation-a-...ation-hash-in-2-59-0

Could this be related to the bug?

I would recommend you update first to 2.06, then to 2.62.

Is it the same database test as live? Have you mixed the databases somehow?

You can check the field 'DBVersion' in global settings.

No, I have not mixed the databases because we have two completely independant systems that are not connected.

Full stack trace can be found in the attachments...

Can I find older versions of limesurvey somewhere? I believe it was somewhat around 2.52 that worked for the update. I would like to try that if I could get the version.

I assume the field you're still missing is the hash in notifications table.

You can check the file updatedb_helper.php for different changes in the database.

Another question: Was this the _first_ error that you got?

It suddenly worked now on the test system... No idea why though! So I tried EXACTLY the same on the productive system again and it didn't work anymore. So I just copied the database from test to prod and now everything works...
I still think it's some sort of bug since I have tried creating notifications table manually before, which made the error turn into another hash-related problem.

Anyway, thanks for your support! :)

If you create manually notification table manually : you must look at all other part done before, put notification table the way they are when installed. Else : LimeSurvey try to create again this table.

Still : maybe there are an issue with some version for updating about this table.
