I built a VM based on the Turnkey Limesurvey package, then upgraded to the latest version manually. When I go to the admin screen, it takes almost 90 seconds for me to log in as admin. The same delay happens when I click on the 'Comfort Update' button from the admin home screen.

Adding/editing surveys works just fine.

Any suggestions on how to debug this problem? The login issue is particularly vexing.

I'm not seeing anything unusual in the apache2 error log.

Probably checking Comfort Update without internet connection?
I managed to fix it by replacing 'comfortupdate.limesurvey.org/' with '' (empty string) in file application/config/updater_version.php.

Ahah! Thanks. I'll figure out where to put the proxy settings and that should fix it.
