cannot find path specified (tmp folder during installation) was created by misologie01
Hi,
I am installing LimeSurvey 2.06 on a Godaddy server. After uploading (in binary), when I load the folder /admin/ I am redirected to /index.php?r=installer/welcome but receive an Internal Server error (See attachment).
When exploring it, it seems that LimeSurvey creates some files in the tmp folder (b616b58 etc) - so it is not an issue of read/write persmission. Rather, it seems that there is a redirect to a file that does not exist. I am not sure if there's any config file where I missed setting the right path, or whether a file was not correctly created in the tmp folder.
I would be grateful for any pointers.
Thanks

Hi,
Any luck with this error?
I'm having the same problem with the latest version: limesurvey206plus-build150911
Installation stops with a similar error message after creating 2 folders in tmp/assets directory.
I have IIS 7.5 & open_basedir is commented out in php.ini

Hi,
I just want to report that I had the same problem when I tried installing version 2.06 in centos in a folder different than apache's document root.
It worked only when I put it in DocumentRoot (/var/www/html/limesurvey).
Version 2.05 was installed without problems everywhere.
