Please help us help you and fill where relevant:
Your LimeSurvey version: 6.4.5
LimeSurvey hosting:
Survey theme/template: fruity_twentythree
==================
Do you know if I can somehow enable the assessment for only specific questions in a group? An alternative way may be to create separate groups for these questions but reorder them so that there is one question from group A, then one question from group B, then again from group A, etc.

Do you have any idea whether that is possible?

Thank you very much for your ideas,

Best regards,

Hannah Trappe

Hi,
1. This assessment feature with assessment rules to display something at the end is absolutely outdated.
Nowadays we use ExpressionScript to calculate scores, values, results, whatever.

2. Usually you use the answer option code to calcualte things.
But assessment values can be useful, if you want to add a negative weight to an answer option, like

or equal weights to seveal answer option

To use assessment values here to calculate  a sum is easier than to have to use a nested IF-statement
{sum(Q1.valueNAOK,Q2.valueNAOK,Q3.valueNAOK)}

{sum(if(Q1.NAOK==1,-5,if(Q1.NAOK==2,-2,if(Q1.NAOK==3,1,if(Q1.NAOK==4,3,if(Q1.NAOK==5,5,0))))), if(Q2.NAOK==...))), if(Q3.NAOK==...)))}

Now please explain, what you want to achieve,
create a small sample survey and send the lss export.

Joffm

P.S.
I do not think this is related to "Future features"

ExpressionScript is a far more flexible and powerful tool for "scoring" than the old assessments feature.

Thank you very much for your suggestion.

My goal is to send automatic feedback to the participants if they surpass a certain value for specific groups of questions.

It is in the field of assessing character strengths. They will answer questions related to individual strengths that are not ordered in a way that they answer questions for one strength first and then questions for another and so one. They are ordered in a way that questions about the assessment of one strength come at multiple times throughout the entire questionnaire.

Would this also work with ExpressionScript?

Thank you very much.

Of course,
imo it will only work with ExpressionScript.
