Attached survey (attachment in bugticket) show same issue under 3.4.1 (demo.limesurvey.org).

GID is only shown in the first question of a group. after that GID is empty.

it's not the same bug, so you can open a new one.
The previous bug was that {GID} wasn't evaluated at all inside text or equations.
Here, your problem is that it doesn't have the correct value.

To me it feels still not OK, opening a new ticket with stuff from Tonis. But anyway, here we go:
