Environment information:
  • LimeSurvey version: 6.4.3
  • LimeSurvey build: 240122
  • Operating system: CentOS 8.5
  • PHP version: 8.0.22
  • Server API: FPM/Fast-CGI
  • Web server software: Apache/2.4.37 (centos) OpenSSL/1.1.1k
  • Database driver: pgsql
  • Database driver version: 13.3
  • Database server info: Client Encoding: UTF8; Date Style: ISO, DMY
  • Database server version: 13.12.18
I've made a new Custom survey theme by extending the Core Vanilla theme, however, my Custom theme is inheriting content from Fruity TwentyTwentyThree. For example, the Survey List page and the Error page are displaying the LimeSurvey logos and Error image when I visit them.

I would have expected fruit2023 content to not populate my Custom theme since Vanilla is labelled as a Core theme.

Here is the beginning of my config file.

Code:
[code]<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!--    (¯`·._.·(¯`·._.· Vanilla Theme Manifest  ·._.·´¯)·._.·´¯)    Base configuration for Vanilla Theme.    The content of this file is imported into DB when you install the template.--><config>    <!-- Those metadata are displayed in the theme configuration page.  -->

I think you can report the issue.

The default theme was fruity2023 ? And the default Survey theme too ?

I had an existing LS v5 instance that I just upgraded to LS v6. Before upgrading, it used custom admin and custom survey themes. Once upgraded, the default admin theme was fruit2023, however, I don't know the state of the survey theme after upgrading.

Check the "Global survey" settings (tab : présentation)

Check the Default theme : global settings/ Général

But : reporting issue still a things to do.
If you set vanilla : you must not have any data or files for fruit2023

Thanks Denis, I understand what you mean by Default Theme now. It was fruity2023, but I've changed it to my custom theme, and the default, Survey List page is using my custom theme. Cheers!
