When I modify a question and list them from the menu: settings>question list the question modified disappears from the above list; the question is visible from the menu "Structure" but remain not visible from the list.
Have someone experimented this issue and know the way to solve the problem. A similar problem is reported here  but the solution not seem to solve my issue

Do these your questions contain custom themes?
And you may follow the discussion about this in the bug tracker.

Consider an update.
It is difficult to say something about one special release 8 months ago.

To be more precise: isn't properly a custom theme. It is an extended standard theme with only logos and color changes.
Changing the theme (i.e. using a standard theme) the problem remain the same.

As you saw in the release notes this error of dissapearing questions was fixed in 5.6.0.
So you should update.
It's useless to talk about an error in an old release.
