Hi,

i tried to use the Default numerical input with sliders. The Default Value shown is always 5, no matter what i do. The Reset Button is working and sets the slider to the position i wish but the default value when starting with the question is 5. is there a reason for this? where can i search?

If you can update to last version 4.1.17 and reproduce :maybe you can make a bug report.

But start by a sample lss with only this question, maybe there are an issue.

For alterantive : you can use "default value" for each subquestion.

What did you set in "Slider innitial value"?

What is set at "Slider starts at the middle position"?

Hi

The Default Value shown is always 5, no matter what i do

That was a bug, and it seems to be a bug.

In version 3.x. you could avoid it by setting the initial value to 0.0 instead 0.
But doesn't seem to work in 4.x.
Even worse. In 3.x. this occured only if the min value was 0; now I see it with each initial value.

But I have to admit. I use 4.1.11.

i updated to 4.1.17. even worse. the tabs at the bottom of the question have now issues when choosing slider. i had to save the question first, then select slider. Its still 5.

I tried every combination, no reaction. it is very interresting because if you use the reset button, it sets the slider to the position i define.

Numerical Input has also a slider option which isn't working at all

Why you don't create a bug report ?
