Move the question index

Currently using 2.6.4 and the Responsive Mobile Template ... but happy to change templates.

What I am looking to do is move the question index alongside the question and rescale the question box to take up more of the screen ... screen shot attached.

I know enough jquery / css to do this I just need to know the element names that need to be addressed.

Many thanks for your help on this

Dave

I did that to get the screenshot I posted ... but in doing so it made the elements non- functioning ...

It did not allow text entry into the text area and the index buttons were not "Clickable"

But thanks for the reply.

I have managed to get it to a state that works ... they wanted a tabbed style survey with question groups being optional ... so to do this I added the following at the bottom of endpage.ptsl

$('#index').insertAfter($(".surveyname"));
$('#index').css('float',"left");
$('#index').css('margin-bottom',"5%");

Then styled the <li> elements with a float ... the result is in the screen shot attached ... a little more work to do on the formatting of the list to remove the automatic numbering but this should meet their needs ....

Thank you all for your replies
