What am I doing wrong? Try to import a CSV file into LS Version 2.67.2
Following the manual, and what I would expect LS to do, is to offer a mapping overview. But I do not get any apportunity to map anything!

I don't get any CSV field names...

After this screen...

I only get a button to upload, after which I get the final result where only email address matches, other fields were not imported.

Help?

Regards, Daniel

Hello, dhel,
a sample of your csv will be appreciated.

What do you expect us to say, if you really followed all the instructions.
Can be charset, can be typo, can be...

Best regards

Hello, dhel,

according to the manual:

Your CSV file must be a standard CSV (Comma Separated Value) file. The first line of text is always the header information and will be used to identify the field data. Possible data fields are:

firstname,lastname,email,emailstatus,token,language code,tid,attribute_1,attribute_2, attribute_...

So your csv header should be like:

attribute_1;attribute_2;email;attribute_3;attribute_4;attribute_5

In the attribute management you can use "LevNaam", "taalOrig", and so.

One recommendation: Use the "language". Otherwise all your participants will get the default language.

Best regards
Joffm

Hi Joffm,

thanks for the info! I was not aware about (and did not read so in the manual) that the headers are not free to choose... I understood LS would bring up a mapping screen where the header of the CSV could be mapped onto the corresponding header of LS ...

I'll try again with proper headers and see what hapens now.
