Hi folks,

this is about designing an n by m matrix with multi choice tick option.
The layout as attached in the picture looks fine to me, but it only allows to select -one- instance under e.g. data source. I would like the participant to be able to select multiple sources.

Currently this is a "Array dual scale"
I am not used to the css language or other expert features.

Can you help my with this please to set up this question properly?

If you don't know css or anything it will be difficult for you to setup the question exactly. You probably will need to join various question types to achieve what you want to do. If I understood this right, in the first part of the scale only one answer can be chosen, and in the second scale various answers should be possible to choose?

To achieve an array with check boxes you can use the array numbers question type:

Hi Holch,
thank you for the response. I think this goes into the right direction and I will try this out.
Hopefully I do not need to join the various question types or use CSS. It may also complicate result analysis which I was planning with R/python using the exported CSV files.

Hi folks,
using the array numbers question type is definitely feasible! I just understood how it works.

Could you help me with setting up the CSS in the following way:
First where to active/use CSS?
Then probably a 2-liner to put headings "Data Usage" above columns 1 & 2 and "Data Source" above columns 3 to 7?
To me this is very complicated because it would be first time and will remain the only time I will use CSS.
I am fine with programming (R, python) though, so it will be fine for me to change the CSS-lines once they are added.
