Set Conditions not working was created by kimdondo
I have been trying to link my questions by using the set conditions tool however when I test the survey and I select the question which would lead to a certain amount of answers the next answers dont load. When I click the next button it does not move to the next page as I have not completed the mandatory question which was not showing up in the first place.
Is there something I'm missing? This method worked fine on the older version of limesurvey.

It is also always important to know the version of LS you are using for this. Because someone might be testing in LS 2.06 and it works, while your problem appears to be in 2.5, or vice versa.

There are quite a few questions in this questionnaire, which questions and conditions are you referring to?

By the way: while importing my Limesurvey instance changed question names from "1", "2", "3" to "q1", "q2", "q3". The question code can not start with a number:

manual.limesurvey.org/Expression_Manager --> search for question code:

[quote}Valid question codes should NOT start with a number, so when using the question code to number your questions, simply use "q1", or "q1a" or "g1q2".[/code]

This could be the reason why your conditions don't work.

I have changed the question codes and added letters but to no avail.

I had set conditions for P1 to certain questions which were relevant to that category as well as P2. For example:

P2: Below is the list of awards that you can enter. Click on the name of a category which you wish to enter and then click Next to proceed with your entry. (qid2735) equals At-retirement solution provider (A1)

OK, give me a clear example for a question that appears if I choose a certain response for P1 or P2 so that I don't have to search.

Hi
So if You select P2 it should take you directly to question codes: AF1 - AF5 as well as BDSF1- BDSF6.
I was still building the survey and didn't go any further when I found the questions weren't linked.

I find the survey works as expected.

When P2 == A1, I see AF1-AF5 (except AF1 is set to "Always hide this question")

When P2 == A2, I see AF5 (because there is no condition on that question) and then BDFS1-BDFS6

You can easily see all of the conditions in the logic file - manual.limesurvey.org/Show_Logic_File

Well whenever I test the survey the dropdowns don't appear after I select P2 in order for me to select AF1-5. Could this be a bug with my version of ls?

Did you try it with the default template? If that works OK, your problem may be in the template...
