Is there a possibility to reset or modify the consecutive participant ID's?

No, I don't think so. You might be able to change them via MySQL, but I am not sure what kind of impact this will have.

However, why would you need to change the participant IDs?

Hello,

As proposed by Holch, you can do it via MySql. Using the following syntax will:

1) Delete all your responses of your survey (no need to desactivate the survey)
2) Reset the 1st participant ID for this survey to "1"
TRUNCATE TABLE lime_survey_123

Replace "lime_survey_123" by the correct table name (the most of the time, just adapt "123" with the correct survey ID)
