Edit user responses with file upload

Hi. We recently created a survey (not token based), and it has several file uploads as part of it. We are receiving some of the files via snailmail and and want to log in and upload the files as the user. When we click on edit survey for a given entry, we can change any of the responses with the exception of the file uploads.

Some have saved responses and some have not.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem. Want to edit submitted response and add a file to an Upload Qtype.

Seems to be not important enough for the developers to fix/add.

I haven't found a bugticket in the tracker. So you might add one to inform devs about this issue.

I am looking more for a workaround.
The only way I can think of is to use tokens and to "Enable token-based response persistence".
Unfortunately, I need multiple responses from one token, so this approach is not possible.

I can upload a file using the administration "Add responses" function, but cannot do it when editing a saved response, which is odd.
Probably it's really a bug and I will reported later.

I hope there is a solution. Otherwise I will have to work directly with the database for this survey which will be really frustrating :)

If there are no bug report => there are no issue for dev :).

Tested with a 2.06 : we can upload files when create a new answer, but not delete/update existing files.
