Please help us help you and fill where relevant:
Your LimeSurvey version: LimeSurvey Community Edition Version 6.3.9+231211
Own server or LimeSurvey hosting:
Survey theme/template:
==================
I need to collect all the projects a company has done in the past years. Therefore I have a question with the company´s details but then a block of 5 questions about the projects.
The problem: each company has a different number of projects. So I need a solution where the user can click something like "add another project" and then can fill in the next, the next... project, and then submit when there is nothing more to add.
Does anyone have a solution for that?
Thank you
Roman

I think that I would make 2 surveys: one with details about the person & company, ending in a link to a second survey that asks for project details.
That second survey ends with a link to the same (second) survey, so people can add details about a second and third (and so on) project.
The only thing that you have to ensure is that you pass on an identifier from the first survey (personal/company details) to the following project surveys. That can be done easily, there is much information about that here on the forum.

Volunteers are not paid.
Not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless

Hi,
@tammo was a bit faster with this proposal.
This is a general solution for each possible number of projects.
Read this thread about it
forums.limesurvey.org/forum/can-i-do-thi...tion-surverys#236371
My question is: What is the expected maximum number of projects?
5, 20, 500, or...?
If this number not too big, you may do it in one survey.
Now it's up to you to decide.
And then send a lss export of your prototype of the survey.

If this number not too big, you may do it in one survey.
- collect the names of projects in a question "multiple short text" with "dynamic" display.
- create as many groups with your "project" questions as this expected maximum number
- display groups by condition (as long as there are entries in the text question.
Now it's up to you to decide.
And then send a lss export of your prototype of the survey.
