I guess I’m doing this all wrong. PDFReport shows up in the top left corner of the completed survey, but I don’t see anywhere to put in the settings that you have shown me.

And?
Can you please show this, e.g. a screenshot .
Or send the lss of your survey.

Joffm

And maybe you are confused about the pdfReport.
Denis and I talk about his plugin

and not about this

Oh well now I understand why it wasn’t working.
Do I need to add every question to the report manually. I have a very large survey.

My survey is 117 questions.
-will I need to create the template for every question or is there a way to have the pdfReport run through all the questions.
- how can I can put the different group titles and group descriptions into the pdfReport template.

maybe the easiest for me is to hack the “export pdf” app to get it to show the base64 properly instead of the text of it. But I wouldn’t know where to look. I am doing this for our charity (Service dogs for Veterans and First Resppnders) we can’t afford to pay a developer. I’ll need to figure this out with whatever free help you guys are able to give.

It take times : but i already done for more than 200 questions. Using a text editor and copy/paste the sample

- how can I can put the different group titles and group descriptions into the pdfReport template.

See the example

See the exampleg

What I meant was programmatically like with the questions ie {G1Q2.shown} or do I need to do those manually also.

This is all only to be able to print the signature. Otherwise the export pdf is adequate.
I’m just thinking out loud but “export pdf” will print a png image if it’s a real png. Could I save the signature as a png and then use it. But I wouldn’t know ho to do it.

Ok I’d like give this a try but how can I access the report later as the administrator. This survey will have confidential data in it and I don’t think an open link to it wouldn’t be a safe thing to do. I’d appreciate your thoughts. I’d prefer to generate the report as needed and then not have it sit on the server. I’ve set multiple questions as encrypted and now if I have a pdf file sitting there it defeats the purpose of that. The reason I liked the other options (PDF Export and QueXML) is that there is nothing but the Limesurvey database.

It's saved as a file in the response.

There are NO open link by the plugin itself. You can read file only if you just do the survey ADN if admin allow it

It's a free like a beer plugin. Test it or leave it, i don't really care.

Hi Denis,
I’m confused. After the survey is complete, how can the administrator print the “pdfReport” again?

Did you try ?
Did you import demo.sondages.pro/226435?newtest=Y&lang=en# and check how it's done ?
