Hello, have a survey on LimeSurvey that has a German base language and I am looking to switch the base language to English. This is so I can use Limesurvey's quick translation to have English and German versions. I saw another post on the forum that claimed a fix ( forums.limesurvey.org/forum/design-issue...language-of-a-survey ) to this but every time I edited the file and uploaded it back to LimeSurvey I got an error message saying unrecognized language. I would upload the file but it exceeds the size limit. Any help is appreciated. Thank you. 

A lss file exceeds the max. size?
Are there copied images instead of linked images?
And you may zip it.

Thank you for your reply. Yes regarding the images. I included a zip file of the survey before editing it to change the base language.

I only looked at the first two pages. There are many, many mistakes.
Not to mention your scales (Good luck for your statistical analysis)

But I am tired to discuss this here in the English part without necessity.

Yes.
Open the lss with a text editor,  have a look at these rows. You will see. 

And mistakes?
Not really programming errors, but mistakes in designing a good questionnaire.
Well, read your questionnaire carefully (as a respondent) and you will see.
As already said "I don't discuss it here". Ask in the German part!
