Dear Community,

I would like to ask you how can I forward each respondent of my Lime Survey to their individual links on a different website upon completing the survey.

I will appreciate your help!

Thank you for your quick responses to my previous forum post. I couldn’t post anything anymore there since my entries were identified as spam. That is why I opened new topic. Do you know why it is the case and how can it be fixed in the future?

My main question is:

This is my first encounter with Lime Survey that is why I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide more detailed instructions on how to redirect Lime Survey respondents to individual websites.

I have approx. 2000 respondents, each with their own individual link (stored as attribute_2), email address, name and token. My goal is to have them complete the Lime Survey first, and upon completion, redirect them to a different website using their individual links.

I understand that to achieve this, I need to use "end URL" field and provide code for the scenario I've described above.

Should I use an if clause in the end URL field? Or would it be better to start with an equation question?

Could you please help me with the syntax? For instance, if respondent's email is "test1.com", I 'd like them to be redirected to the website with their individual link " link1.com ", if respondent's email is "test2.com", I 'd like them to be redirected to the website with their individual link " link2.com ", etc...

Thank you in advance for your help!

Best,
Kornelia

Hi,

I have approx. 2000 respondents, each with their own individual link (stored as attribute_2)

So, you already have the link in the attribute. No need to use or consider the mail address.

If it is the full URL you only have to enter into the end-URL field
{TOKEN:ATTRIBUTE_2}

If it is only the individual part, you should generate the full URL in an equation ("eqURL"} like
Code:
{https://www.myServer//myPage.php?param1=" + TOKEN_ATTRIBUTE_2}
or whatever.

and enter this {eqURL}
