The survey updates the page instead of moving on to the next group was created by moisespaivaspi
I'm having a problem with my survey.
Whenever I click on the "Next" the survey updates the page of this group of questions instead of following the next one. The whole survey has lots of questions and 248 of them are invisible, appearing only one of them depending on the conditions that I defined.
Can someone tell me why why I refresh the page instead of moving on to the next group?
Thank you

Volunteers are not paid.
Not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless

Hello,
well, your informations are not very substantial.
I suppose you talk about your "Toolkit" survey.
I checked what you sent a few days ago, and ther were four errors in the logic file.
Therefore: Did you check the logic? What was the result?
Best regard

Hello.
I was correcting that aspect about the countries in which I had spoken the other day in a new survey.
I'll send him to see if I can.
when you want to move to Part 2B it makes me refresh to the page of part 2A.
How do I check for these logic errors?
Best regards.

"Survey properties / Survey logic file"
Well, this file you send doesn't show any errors.

I do not understand why not let me advance in the survey. I already went to the php.ini file to increase the value of "max_input_vars" because it gave me error when the value was at 1000. Now it does not give me the error but it continues to make me the refresh to the page and it does not allow me to advance.

Hello, Moises,
I tested Austria and Denmark and couldn't reproduce.
Well, I imported the survey after you exported it. Maybe you should do the same. Import a new survey from your export.
Some proposed improvements:
1.Set relevance equations that Q1X1X9eO and Q1X1X10eO are only shown if in the previous question "Other" is "Yes".
2. Set the subquestion width in your arrays to at least 50%.
3. Did you notice that it takes a long time to enter Group "Part 2A"? That's because ALL of your regions have to be taken into account though only one is displayed
Better to have one group for each region selected by group relevance.
Sorry, not much help.

Hi Joff.
I'm understanding the improvements you're telling me.
Can you explain to me where I change the width of the subsections of my arrays?
I've noticed this delay in the regions and I really need to sort it out. What suits me then is to create a group for each region. But when defining conditions is it possible to define in the same case to be in independent groups?
You're helping me a lot already.
Thank you for everything.
Best regards.
Moisés

I've already found where the width changes.
Now I'm still a bit confused with the last point you mentioned about a group for each region.

Why confused?
You have one huge group "Part2A" with all the question for our regions. LS has to calculate all which are displayed or not, because you display groupwise.
I propose instead "Part2A" of to have groups like: (that there is less to calculate, only country and inside ONE country the regions)
grAlbania: (group relevance: "Q1XCountry=="AL")
grAustria: (group relevance: "Q1XCountry=="AT")
And then "Part2B"
Best regards
Joffm

But when creating a group for each region / country and setting the conditions the limesurvey when loading the page does not run through them all at the same time?
Sorry to ask so many questions but as it is a large scale project and quite delicate and due to my little experience.
Best regards
Moisés

Hello, Moises,
therefore you should always create a sample before, where you check the relevances and all the logic.
Then you fill it with the rest.
Here is a sample how I'd design it.
Best regards
Joffm
By the way:
1.I hope you know about the column limits of MySQL.
2. And IMHO the amount of posted variables is much less if you split into several groups.
E.g. My provider has a max_input_vars value of 4000.
