drop down filter based on multiple response was created by groentje
I would like to present a question with radio buttons, with only the answers given at the multipele question before.
q1: Which of the follwing do you like
- a
- b
- c
- d
- e
Suppose a, b and e are answered
Q2: Which do you like best?
- a
- b
- e
Ay help will be appreciated!

Look for Array filter in the manual. This is doing exactly what you are looking for.

I think it should work for lists as well. The manual is not 100% clear on this, but if this is correct, it should work: "The Array filter advanced settings allow you to use any multiple choice question to select or set which responses display in a subsequent list, array or multiple choice question."

Or you just create your first question with all items and then copy the question. In the second question you just enter the questioncode of the first question in the arrayfilter field under advanced settings of this second question.
That's it. Items will be filtered.

How to do what? Importing the LSS file? Depending on your LimeSurvey version you got a import survey menu item or you can create a new survey and choose to import the lss-file instead of creating a new survey.groentje wrote: I found manual.limesurvey.org/Expression_Manager_Sample_Surveys
