It's like you want .
Sometimes i use 3 survey too : one closed (by time), and others one with different question in each, some are same. The closed one get all response (but i hack response id to allowing update/not replace).
VV : a .... don't remind why it's named like this .....

Same here, Denis, same here. I don't understand why you don't like creating dummy tokens...
Your approach is relatively quick, I agree. And I understand it better now. I wouldn't say it is necessarily the "quickest" approach.
I normally prefer not to delete any data and rather create a few extra dummy tokens, then exporting a file, deleting the responses from the survey, open it, do the data entry and then import the old data. I would personally prefer to go via some dummy tokens that are also created very quickly. I think there is even a function in LS now, isn't it? And if not, you create a quick CSV file, upload it, done.
I guess it is just some kind of personal preference and "workflow" thing.

I normally prefer not to delete any data : +1 here
In fact : i think dummy token are OK, but need a lot of manual update : and all manual update are unsure.

Mr Google seems to think it's purely a Limesurvey thing (all pages with 'vv survey' refer to Limesurvey). Must be lost in the mists of time...

Nothing that a quick formula in Excel can't solve. Or a function in LS:
manual.limesurvey.org/Survey_participants#Dummy_Tokens

Generating dummy tokens was my first approach, but that would require dummy addresses, names, etc

You don't need names/adress/email or anything else in token. You need the columpn but can be empty

Denis, there is even a function to create dummy tokens in LS. So not sure about the manual part.
