Jump to the end of the questionnaire 2.06 was created by bogika0107
hi!

I would like to know how can i jump to the end of the questionnaire if i have a multiple choice type question.
For example: Do you work in the following area?
1. Marketing
2. Media
3. Market research
4. Healtcare
And if s/he marks the #3 s/he works as market researcher jump to the end of the survey. Don't appear the next questions.

I don't want to setting in all other question's conditions.
Thank you for your help.

If you have multiple question groups, you can set group relevance using Expresssion Manager. You don't have to set conditions on every subsequent question then.

Also, you can set quotas (please refer to manual for instructions).

Thank you for answers.

Unfortunatelly I can't set quotas, because I don't see admin settings.

A red the Expression Manager, and I found Expressing Manager Examples too. No one good for me. I have attached a jpg 'multiple_relevance' I tried it. It worked at the first question, but at the second have already conditions and I can't edit it.

+ Even if i give up and i want to set condition every single questions also doesn't work. --> I have multiple choise question type with 10 answer options. If you mark #1,#2,#3 or #4 you have to jump to the end of the survey. Even if you mark #1 and #6...
But I can't set of this kind scenario because multiple choice type no exist "and" condition for example if s/he mark #1 AND #6 she have to finished the survey...
:(

Hi, bogika,
if you really cannot use quotas the only way is to use relevance.
If you did not use groups, you can set up two groups:
1. Only containing your multiple choice question.
2. All the other questions.
So the relevance for this second group could be:
Q1_SQ003!="Y" : Group only visible if the answer of question Q1 with code SQ003 was not selected.
If more than one code is forbidden:
(Q1_SQ003!="Y") AND (Q1_SQ005!="Y") AND (Q1_SQ009!="Y") : 3rd, 5th and 9th code must not be selected.

If you already have some groups you have to enter this relevance into all of them.

Best regards
Joffm

Are you aware of relevance equation fields, which are available with every question and every question group.
They are no the same as conditions. If you use conditions, these fields are often blocked.
I still don't grasp the complexity without seeing the whole survey section, but there is a good chance that the skipping is possible via hiding.
A lot of work, but possible.

When designing conditions, did you tried to use additional scenarios? That is sometimes overlooked. You have AND and OR available.

I don't understand that sentence:

But I can't set of this kind scenario because multiple choice type no exist "and" condition for example if s/he mark #1 AND #6 she have to finished the survey...

The lack of SKIP is a big issue in more complex survey. In LimeSurvey this took me once 10 hours, which would take 2 minutes in a different survey package. I recommend to have the survey complete done before adding the SKIP via HIDING. If you need to add conditions or relevance thing afterwards, the nightmare is endless.

Sounds pretty weird that you don't have permissions for using "quota". Best solution: Ask the person that is responsible for the Limesurvey installation to look into this.

I answer at the LimeSurvey forum in my spare time, I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH employee.
