Hey I am new to Limesurvey.
I wanted to know if the responses from the survey can be used to compute a third value and display it immediately.
Eg: My q1 is : Amount ? Response is 100
My q2 is : Withdrawal? Response is 60
The third field q3 should display 40.

Have a look at the Expression Manager. This can be easily done. However, this is not a topic for the development section (which is for the development of Limesurvey itself), thus I will move your topic to "can I doe this with LS"...

Could you explain the entire process to get a third field which computes 100 from q1 and 60 from q2 to output q3 as 40.
Mostly, just how to edit the q3 so that it just displays the computed amount
