Please help us help you and fill where relevant:
Your LimeSurvey version:
Own server or LimeSurvey hosting: own Server (PHP 8.0, MySQL 5.7)
Survey theme/template:  no reference  (tried all: vanilla, fruity etc.)
==================
Full new install version 6.2.6 (new Folder), Database merged from 5.0 without error

Everything works fine, but when i try to stop a survey (all surveys affected) this error appears:500: internal server error 11 arguments are required, 9 given
This error occurs with every survey, even with new "empty"-ones, including only example question.

Creation, editing, running and deletion of survey works without error.

How did you "merge" the database? Did you upgrade a 5.x instance?

Cheers,

I installed the new files and entered the connection-details to the old database. A db-convert-dialog appears at first call and completed with success.

This sounds like not all old files were replaced with new versions. Make sure, that on unzipping the new files all old files are overwritten.

Same Issue here.

My instal location is "/var/www/limesurvey" and local backup for testing is "/backup"
Updatet from Release 5.6.38 to Release 6.2.7 in the following steps:
Code:
cp -r /var/www/limesurvey/* /backup/
rm -rf /var/www/limesurvey/*
wget https://download.limesurvey.org/latest-master/limesurvey6.2.7+230918.zip
unzip limesurvey6.2.7+230918.zip
cp limesurvey/* /var/www/limesurvey/
cp /backup/application/config/security.php /var/www/limesurvey/application/config/
cp /backup/application/config/config.php /var/www/limesurvey/application/config/
\cp -r /backup/upload/* /var/www/limesurvey/upload/
chown -R nginx:nginx /var/www/limesurvey/tmp /var/www/limesurvey/upload /var/www/limesurvey/application/config
  1. First i make a local Backup
  2. Remove old files
  3. Download, unzip and copy new file to the install location
  4. Copy config files from my backup to the new files
  5. Set rights
  6. Go to my website and make a Database upgrade with success

i did not overwrite any file because i renamed the old install-folder so no old files could be used...

Try to activate debug mode in/applicaiton/config/config.php, then try again.
You should see a much more elaborate error. Please paste it here.
