Unstable Update? was created by bscwebmaster
Please help us help you and fill where relevant:
Your LimeSurvey version: LimeSurvey Community Edition, Version 5.6.19+230509
Own server or LimeSurvey hosting: own server
Survey theme/template: fruity
==================
My installation of LimeSurvey is encouraging me to download an "Unstable Update." I'm generally much more in favor of "stable" updates, stability being something I consider quite desirable in most things. Does the LimeSurvey team have a different definition for the word "unstable"? Please help me understand what's going on here.

Thank you!

What version does it suggest you update to?

I am currently not aware of any "unstable" version of Limesurvey.

The developer team does consider LS3, LS5 and LS6 all as stable. So this might be a glitch in the interface. But let us know what "unstable" version it want's you to update to.

It's trying to upgrade to 5.6.20 (230516)

I'm pretty sure that's not supposed to be there. It's certainly not a good look!

If you're a ComfortUpdate customer, you can contact LimeSurvey support directly.

Cheers,

It shows "unstable" for me as well. But, just like Tpartner, I am pretty sure that this is an error in Comfort Update rather than 5.6.20 being an unstable release.

Now, we could doubt the "stability" of this release with a mistake like this, but that is a different topic... ;-)

I would suggest to open a support ticket with the Limesurvey Gmbh, as you seem to be a paying customer of Comfort Update.
