ls3.23.2 editing question changes question order was created by lowprofile
Hi,
We recently installed 3.23.2 and by testing we found that in some cases questions will be reordered (to the top) after being edited.
This was done when the survey was not active.
We then did the same thing when the survey was live (yes I know thats bad) but we just edited question text and the same thing occurred and we could not reorder since the options are deactivated and required to stop reorder and restart
thanks in advance

There should be no way to reorder the questions in an activated survey, either by you or by the software - it requires a change to the database.
Are you sure that the survey was activated and that you did not inadvertently drag the questions to a new position?

Yes, I'm not dragging anything. I'm trying to get it to be reproducible.
I notice the when editing the question the Question Order number is cleared to 0

Hi,
We updated from 3.23.2 to 3.24.2 and the problem has been resolved.
Questions which already had the order set as 0 had to be restructured or else things would crash .
