Please help us help you and fill where relevant:
Your LimeSurvey version: 6.29+230925
Own server or LimeSurvey hosting: Own server/LimeSurvey hosting
Survey theme/template: vanilla
==================
For example, if there is a question, "How old are you? (Please write in numbers)", one can design a display that includes a (years) suffix. On laptops and PCs, one can normally adjust the text input box width/size. However, on mobile phones, the answer prefix and answer suffix are placed above and below the text input box, regardless of the width/size adjustment. I'd like to display the answer prefix, text input box, and answer suffix on a single line, but it seems there's an exception on mobile phones. Is there a solution for this?

I could confirm this issue in Vanilla, fruity_twentythree and bootswatch. So maybe you can create a bug report. Not sure if it is a real bug, but in my opinion, if the number field is small, there should not be a line break if the text is short enough.

Clearly an issue : work good on 3.X and 5.X

I think @mfavetti is right : not a bug …

It's the needed behaviour for such attribute. It's better like that 95% of time …
See github.com/LimeSurvey/LimeSurvey/blob/0b...urvey/survey.css#L63
and here : github.com/LimeSurvey/LimeSurvey/blob/0b...rvey/survey.css#L102

Try to add suffix-prefix-force to the Question class

I don't agree. If there is enough space (no matter if on a small or a big screen, why forcing prefix and suffix to a seperate line? If I want to add years or the currency or kg, m, cm, etc. I want it on the same line. Obviously, if the box is too big there is nothing we can do, but in this example the text/ number box only needs to fit maybe 2-4 numbers and there should be enough space for the prefix "years" (not sure why it is in parenthesis).

Thank you. Can you create a case for me as a .lss/.lsq file?

I've tried entering various contents in the "display > css class(es)" on the question edit screen, but there's still no effect.

I learn to use suffix-prefix-force. I sincerely thank you. (I must admit that I lack technical expertise. However, I can't help but think that even in a mobile environment, the use of CSS should be minimized.  )
