Hi everyone,

I know my installed LS is quite old (2013), but it has worked flawlessly all those years, until now where I wanted to use the public registration.
Could register to the survey providing a name and e-mail address. So far so good. Received the Survey registration confirmation e-mail. Fine. Clicked on the generated link given on the e-mail (with the suitable token on it), but unfortunately landed in the same registraton page beginning with "You must be registered to complete this survey". It went to a sort of loop.
Please, could anyone help me on this.

Your installation is indeed old: 20 dec 2017, but not as old as you thought...

Still it is a good idea to update, since 2017 there have been some security updates.

I cannot help you with your problem, I would update first.

I agree with Tammo.

Not only is this version old, it is also EOL and not supported anymore. And to make things worse: This branch (2.5x/2.7xwas probably the worst release of Limesurvey ever made. I personally never considered this branch stable and ready for use in a production environment.

In my opinion, it makes little to no sense to try to fix problems in such an old version. Most people won't have this branch installed anymore, to be able to reproduce your issues.

I want to inform you that the new installation from 5.x version went well.
No incident occurred. Everything important works fine. Some questions though I will open new thread for them.
