Custom CSS not applying... what am I doing wrong? was created by ninaviz
Hello! I am not a developer. I have read the documentation, and I have googled around and looked at the mozilla dev docs to try and figure this out, and am still not making progress.
What else do I need to do to my CSS (see screenshot attached) to make it apply to all global attributes meeting these styles, for my survey in 3.x?

I have also tried multiple specificity and syntax variations, to no avail.
For the Survey Title, I'm currently at...
...and it just won't apply. Yes, I suck at CSS. Help?
For the Survey Title, I'm currently at...
Code:
#welcome-container .survey-name { font-size: 3em; font-weight: 300; text-align: left; margin-top: .1em; color: #888; }
...and it just won't apply. Yes, I suck at CSS. Help?

Your first screenshot does not seem to target the .survey-name class.
Having said that, can you activate a sample survey so we can see what CSS rules are taking precedence.

Thank you!! Yes, I have tried every combination of div/class combos pertaining to just the Welcome page's Title, to just get that one right... and cannot seem to even hit that one.

Hi Denis: Thank you for looking at this!
I just activated both frontend and backend debug mode. We now have Version 3.23.6+200929 running. We'd had a 4.x version previously, and it was too unstable so I requested a downgrade.
Unfortunately I cannot learn what "debug mode" does, as the page in the LS docs is loading w/o content. It says that you were the last editor to the page in 2015.
Thoughts?

By default without any update : link must be like this
survey.qubes-os.org/tmp/assets/randomnumber/custom.css
Becaus eby default we use asset manager. The only way to disable asset manager is toupdate manually a PHP file …
Here seems someone update (manually) application/config/config.php
manual.limesurvey.org/Optional_settings#...opment_and_debugging
BUT :
Seems strange survey.qubes-os.org/upload/themes/survey...bes22/css/custom.css show at 404 but are shown in editor …
