tweaking slider with multiple numerical input was created by Csurvey
Hello everybody,
I am working with Ls 2.05 plus and want to tweak Visual Analogic Scales.
I want to tweak :
-the length of the slider so that the slide is about a fixed % of the screen.
-That my slider measures from a 0 to 10 with a precision of 0,01 (i have tried this input but it is not operating)
-the text at each side of the sliders, like putting BAD---GOOD
BAD
I
GOOD and putting a caption above (like "feelings")
-disabling the cursor position numerical entry , i mean i don't want that the value be visible above the cursor to blind the process
-to have no cursor at the load of the page to diminish anchoring effects, i mean that the cursor be visible only when you click the mouse on the slider.
I just at first put several separated multiple numerical entry with a slider to be able to write above each slider (and not one with several entry).
Could you help me with the CSS i have to edit to do that sort of things ?
Thanks a lot,
Best,
C

I think those sliders come from a Javascript library and are not just simple CSS. I am not sure if you can adapt them to your needs very easy.

Hi,
1st : "That my slider measures from a 0 to 10 with a precision of 0,01" : It can be made in advanced setting , but remind: 0.01 not 0,01 (dot). (Slider minimum value: 1 and Slider maximum value: 10 and Slider accuracy: 0.01 )
2nd: "the text at each side of the sliders, like putting BAD---GOOD" Try to put The sub question|BAD|GOOD and Slider left/right text separator to |
For the other : i think we can do a lot in CSS (template.css):
For don't display the cursor at start, surely be possible. Please have a look at:
- Our manual (1st and 2nd are on our manual ....)
- Jquery and jquery-ui documentation
- Css documentation.
