I have an active survey which I needed to change. As I didnt want to deactivate my active survey in the meantime I copied the survey and changed the copied version. Now I want to activate the new survey, however the link should not change, as I have already printed qr codes for the old surveys on flyers. Is there any way to redirect the new survey to the old link?

Or do I have to deactivate the currently active survey, manually change it and then reactivate it again? If so, do the survey id and therefore the link and qr code stay the same?
 

You need survey keep same id.

You can

1. Export the V file of your current survey
2. Delete your current survey
3. Copy your new survey and set the new id to your current id
4. Activate your new current survey
5. Import your VV file in your new current survey

Even if it worked, deactivating the old one, making the changes and reactivating it would most probably been a lot less work and hassle.

By the way, you should update your version of Limesurvey, which hasn't received any updates, bug fixes or security patches for way over 2 years.

I'm not OK with this : it's best to test new version with activated version online.
