Hey everyone,
I hope you can help me . For my survey I have to test 3 different stimuli in a roughly equal group distribution. This means that a person randomly gets either group 1,2 or 3. Can you help me and show me with which code or how this is feasible?
A huge thank you!
Kind regards

Volunteers are not paid.
Not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless

Hi,
the buzzword is "random number".
Create one from 1 to 3 and display your groups accordingly.
Reading your username I suppose you can read German.
Read my "Tutorial 4: Gleichungen, Zufall" which you find in the German section.
But why did you ignore the questions at the beginning?

Thanks for the quick reply. Where can I find the tutorial?
I don´t find this...
Another question is if its possible to get roughly the same draw?

As said, in the German section.
I should say, on one of the first five pages.
And there you find the answer to your second question.

OK, from what I understood so far is that you a) found the tutorial and b) tried it, but you run into issues.
Now it would be a good time to give us more details about the issues you are running into. What error messages do you get? What did you do, what did you write where?
Often a small sample of the relevant questions in an LSS file can help to troubleshoot. This way we can see what you have done so far and where it went wrong.
With your current description there is very little we can help.

My guess is, that you did something wrong at the time to name the questions or to reference the questions. Of course you need to adapt variable names to the ones you are using in your survey.
