modify graph / chart size in statistics was created by Digit
Hi,
I'm a LS newbie, I did RTFM but couldn't find how to modify the chart / graph sizes on the statistics results page.
Is there a way to do this, as for me they are just WAY too big regardless of number of columns chosen etc.

There is no included settings for this : LimeSurvey is not a report provider actually.

at least you can modify your template setting adding a max size for all the pics displayed in your report...
Something like (inspect the statistic view to find correct Ids/classes):

Code:
.statisticstable img { max-width:350px; border:0 }

In expert mode you can now set the number of columns.

Thanks all for your responses,
@ DenisChenu, yes but it does provide some reports, or what's the point of the survey it's just the size of the ones it provides I wish to modify.
@ Ben_V In the template editor there is no page for the reporting aspect, or am I missing something ?
@ LouisGac I've tried setting different columns but it makes little difference
Looking at screenshots from others it seems to be a problem local to me as they seem to fit the page.
I've attached a full-screen pic of my display (Chromium @ 100%) 2 columns for reference.
Any other clues as to what to edit to bring the size down would be appreciated.
TIA

Could give it a try with the "Sea of green" admin theme?
If you still have the problem with it, could you please open a bug report about it?

What's your screen size?

Thanks LouisGac,
I changed the theme (screenshot attached), no difference, my screen resolution is 1366x768, browser makes no difference either, I'm running Ubuntu14.04 but that also should not matter.
As there are no other complaints on this forum (and I'm sure someone else would have mentioned it) I suspect it's a local (to me) issue ???
I'm using
LimeSurvey
Version 2.51.0+160829
but it's just in testing ATM so I will try an upgrade (there's one pending) and see if that makes any difference.
Thanks again for your response.

so it can be considerated as a bug to fix.
please, fill a bug report, with your screen resolution.
nb: small screens are not that great to work: a >20" HD Screen today start at less than 100 euros. Your neck and eyes will thanks you

@Luis: I agree about the screen size and it is well worth to have an external screen, if you work a lot with your notebook. And there is nothing better than to have two monitors to work from. Wouldn't want to miss this setup.
However, sometimes you just need to work off your notebook, e.g. when you travel, in a meeting, etc. and LS must work at least on any decent sized notebook resolution and I'd say 1366x768 px is still a decent resolution which will still be valid for a while.

I agree Holch, that's why I consider that problem as a bug to fix (just not a high priority, but there are very few bugs now on the bug tracker, so it's ok).

Thanks a lot for all your help,
I've submitted it as bug ID 11649.
I hope I went about this the right way being a newbie 'n all
FYI I'm based in Africa where 1024x768 is still pretty much the standard, unless one is into graphic editing etc.

Yes, digit mentiones also an important factor. When looking at the perspective from the well developed European or North Amercian markets, big screens are not a big deal. But even here in Brazil our setup with two monitors (one from the notebook and one 22" external monitor) is not very common (especially not in small . IT costs are high and thus companies try to save whereever they can (even if I think that the aprox. 200-250 Euros for a 22" screen are a good investment). But many companies already struggle to have up to date (or better "usable") computers. Imagine now other even less developed areas around the globe. It is so easy to loose this perspective.
Glad that we will still support reasonably smaller screens. Would be interesting to see how many Limesurvey users are from countries that are still under development.
