Yeah, should be. The script just wraps text elements (not labels, dropdowns, etc) in span elements and hides the first one.

Then if the format is yyyy/mm/dd, will it also work?

Change this:
$('span.date-separator:eq(0)', thisQuestion).hide();


To this:
$('span.date-separator:eq(1)', thisQuestion).hide();

If you are using a fairly recent version of 2.05 (after October/2013, the month/year format should be "natively" supported (without javascript) in Limesurvey. Just create a normal date question and for example enter yyyy-mm in the date format field.

You should get the datepicker without the "calender" part. Hope this helps....
