PHPSurveyor 1.45alpha Version Released E-mail
Sunday, 25 February 2007 02:27

The PHPSurveyor development team is happy to announce the release of the alpha version 1.45. This new version really makes a difference to the current 1.0 stable. The ability to execute a survey in different languages at the same time, the ability to run on different database systems or the new user system for the admin section are only the base features. LDAP import for tokens and numerous small changes are the things which make this alpha version hot and spicy.

Remember... this is an unstable alpha version. Do not use it for production purposes. However we will be happy about every feedback, suggestion and bug report. As soon you give us feedback as sooner we can get you a new and more stable version. If you need help do not to hesitate to ask in the forums or on IRC. Demo Here.

Now go to the Downloads and get your hands on it... or read the list of new features.

New Mailing List For Translators E-mail
Thursday, 28 December 2006 05:54

We just created a new mailing list for translators of PHPSurveyor. It was necessary since we needed a way to send notifications prior to upcoming releases or website news - so news can be translated/PHPSurveyor translations can be updated by the translators right in time for release. In the past this has not been coordinated at all which led to website news not being translated for several weeks and/or incomplete language translations in releases.

So, if you are doing translations in the PHPSurveyor project, please register with this translator mailing list.

If you want to join this project and translate PHPSurveyor to your language then please use the instructions provided here and get in touch with us!

PHPSurveyor 1.46beta Released! E-mail
Saturday, 03 March 2007 01:55

The development sped up and thanks to the feedback we got from users we can release another version this week.

This new version is alot more stable and usable - we fixed the PHP4 backward compatibility and other problems. We even added a small new feature: - captcha input for the registration form.

If you want to be safe and sound do no use this version for production - the braver ones are allowed to do so. We fixed almost every issue reported to us this week and we will continue to do so if you, the users, are helping us with your feedback, bug reports, translations etc.

Now have fun with this new version and download it here.

The unstable demo has been updated, check it out

PHPSurveyor 1.08alpha3 released! E-mail
Wednesday, 13 December 2006 11:41

To shorten the waiting time for the next big alpha version (which will have a lot of new features) we decided to release a small update to the previous alpha version. This update includes small fixes but most importantly huge performance improvements. In some sections of the code it is up to 80% faster now when displaying the survey pages. This was possible thanks to Shawn Wales optimizing and testing intensively. As always any feedback on these performance improvements are welcome! If you like to give it a shot please head over to the download section!
