Small Text in PDF Output was created by Niall01
Hi,
I've installed my survey and I'm happy with how it works but it does something strange when I export the answers as a PDF. Most of the text is a normal (10 point) size but some of the text is very small.
See attached at the bottom of page one. Has anyone else had an issue like this, and is there a way I can correct it?
The only thing I can think of is that the small text is part of a sub-question set. I'm using the hosted service, version 2.05+.
Many thanks
Niall

Niall,
try to edit the print_template.css file of the template used for your survey.
(There is a "template editor" icon in the main menu)
At he end of this file add this rule:
Obviously, if you need more than 12pt, increase this number.
PS: Be carefull whith attached files. You may previously delete or obfuscate all personal info (like e-mail address), because those files will be indexed by major search engines and this can be a source of spam etc.

BTW, another easy improvment of your printed document is to transform dynamically:
Yes [Y] ---> Yes
No [N] ---> No
If you need it, just paste at the end of your template.js file the following code:
Clear the cache of your browser and try...
Yes [Y] ---> Yes
No [N] ---> No
If you need it, just paste at the end of your template.js file the following code:
Code:
$(function(){ $('.printanswersanswertext:contains("Yes [Y]")').text("Yes"); $('.printanswersanswertext:contains("No [N]")').text("No"); });
Clear the cache of your browser and try...

MAybe a bug, if you can report with the survey file in example (lss file).
Assistance on LimeSurvey forum and LimeSurvey core development are on my free time.
I'm not a LimeSurvey GmbH member, professional service on demand , plugin development .
I don't answer to private message.

Hi all,
Thank you for the suggestions (and apologies for the delay in responding, I have been on paternity leave). I've got around the issue by created a new version without the PDF export, it now exports in excel as a csv and I use a macro to put it into a nice format. If anyone would find the LSS useful then I'm happy to upload.
Thanks again
Niall
