Really i've been looking for days. I am a noob to lime survey.
How do I allow a user to submit their name and email and simply go on to the survey.
NO emailed token just go on and complete my survey.
I really appreciate that there is lime survey available. It's really awesome.
I just need a little help figuring this out, please.
I'm using Version 2.05+ Build 140217.
Thank you in advanced.

Why don't you just make name and email two required questions in your survey? If you want them to be on a separate page, put them in one group and the other survey questions in another group.

Yeah, that is probably the easiest solution.
Note, though, that you can use tokens and also allow public registration - manual.limesurvey.org/Creating_a_new_survey#Tokens .

I've tried working with tokens to make this work but I can't bypass the email process and send the user straight through to the survey.
Can that be accomplished?

Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you were trying to avoid "Invitation" emails, not the "Registration" emails. There is no way to get around those.

You can change the email setting to smtp without specifying smtp server information in global setting, which will solve the auto-email problem. However, the problem is that if you use token a user will have to use the link in the email automatically sent to him/her to access the survey.
