Hello!
I am making a question with multiple choice options. I would like to participants to choose exactly two answers, unless they do not know (which is another option) or choose 'Other' as an option. In those cases, it would be enough if they only choose one option.
How do I ensure that they must choose two of the standard options (Outlet A, B, C, D, or E), but are exempted from this condition if they choose 'Don't know' or 'Other'?
Thanks in advance!
Isabella
Example question for reference:
Please choose the two most common outlets in your municipality.
- Outlet A
- Outlet B
- Outlet C
- Outlet D
- Outlet E
- Other (with comment box)
- Don't know
In attacchment you find a sample group that you can import and evaluate the solution.
The equation I use for validation is:
((count(self)==2) AND (is_empty(Outlet_Adont.NAOK))) OR ((count(self)==1) AND (Outlet_Adont.NAOK=='Y'))
where "Outlet" is the question_code and "Adont" the subquestion_code for "Don't know".
To specify other outlet, I used a conditioned text question.
