Problem: Texts could not be stored. Reloading page.

When I try to save a survey's text elements I get this error message and nothing saves:

Texts could not be stored. Reloading page.

When I try to save a question group, I get a similar error message (and again nothing saves):

Questiongroup could not be stored. Reloading page.

Saving questions seems to be working fine. I tried this with existing/previous surveys and with new surveys, same result.

I am on the latest v4, I tried clearing the cache both from the global settings, and also by deleting the tmp/assets files from the file system. I tried enabling debug mode (both mode 1 and 2) and I get no additional errors displayed, nothing.

In the chrome console I get this error (I've hidden my url for security purposes):
Code:

I've also tried with firefox, same problem.

What else can I do to troubleshoot this?

Can you give the exact number at bottom right of the screen ?
Did you have plugins activated ?

Can you try to import a sample survey from docs directory and try ?

Maybe report the issue : www.limesurvey.org/community/bug-tracker

I am on Version 4.1.0+200128

I have the same issue if I try to do it in an imported demo survey.

I guess I will report it to the bug tracker, but thanks for the reply.

For information : i can not reproduce on 4.1.0 github version.

Maybe an issue with language ? Can you check with set your language in english ?

Is that error occurring with a fresh survey without any new content entered into the text fields? I recommend to submit a bug ticket right away.

What version of Limesurvey are you using?

And as you can see in the bug tracker link (bugs.limesurvey.org/view.php?id=15800) this seems not to be resolved yet.

You can add a comment that you encounter the same problem, but please report with your version of Limesurvey.
