User email notification

Hi,
I've been away for a long time, and it changed a little
We are looking for a solution for our problem.
I would like to create a survey for which, after completing correctly, the user will receive
- an email to the address provided with "thank you for completing the survey" mesasage
- unique code, number as a discount coupon.
1.
Where to turn on the option to send him a confirmation and ThankYou message after correctly completing the last field,
e.g. "EU GDPR"?
2.
How do you add a unique number to this message and save it in the survey?
Can I create a "hidden" field that will generate a random number and then add it to the message?
We use: 2.64.7+170404

1. Survey Properties / General Settings & Texts / Notification and Data Management
Either the email address is in your participants table or you capture it in a question of the questionnaire.
Enter it by Expression Manager into one of the "send email..." fields.
2. Using a random number you are not sure that it is really unique.
If you have a list of the coupon numbers you may use an ajax call to a remote php script that selects one,
or you try Denis' plugin

Anyway: Your version is really outdated. You should consider an update to the latest version of the 3.x. branch.

In the previous version, actually a lot of changes.
I already have a new 4.1.15 + 200402
Is it easier to do now?
How to notify the user that the survey has been completed?
or a new idea.
Can each survey be sent to one notification email address, e.g. "surveyA1@domain.com"
but the user's e-mail address will be provided as the sender.
Can LS fake email headers?
I will pass this through our email ticket system.
Everyone will get a unique code.

The way to send these notifications has not changed for the last couple of versions of Limesurvey. The basic idea is still the same, you use one of the two admin notification emails to send the email to the respondent. You can modify the text that is being sent.
