Uitleg

Elke extensie heeft een "compatibiliteits"-optie ingesteld in het config.xml-bestand, die bepaalt of de extensie compatibel is met de huidige versie van LimeSurvey.
De versie wordt vergeleken met de dan geïnstalleerde versie van LimeSurvey.
De extensies die in de applicatie aanwezig zijn, zijn: Enquêtethema's, Beheerdersthema's en Plugins.

Geldige formaten

Als de waarde 6 is ingesteld, is deze compatibel met alle versies tussen 6 en 7.

Enquêtethema's

Om een incompatibel enquêtethema te herstellen, voegt u de optie "compatibiliteit" met het juiste versienummer toe in het bestand "config.xml" voor dit thema.

Dit kan op 2 manieren:

1. Exporteer het enquêtethema en open het bestand config.xml.
2. Als u toegang hebt tot de server, bevindt het bestand config.xml zich in "upload/themes/survey/YOURTHEMENAME" in de hoofdmap van de toepassing.

Bekijk in een dummy-enquête zorgvuldig welke wijzigingen u moet aanbrengen voordat u uw aangepaste enquêtethema in een productie-omgeving gebruikt.

Admin themes

  Before updating the compatibility version number of your config.xml file, please be aware that enabling an incompatible admin theme can break the admin interface of the application.
If this happens to you, make sure to manually set the theme inside the database table "settings_global" to the default theme "Sea_Green". You can always check in the "application/config/config-defaults.php" file what name should be used in the database $config['admintheme'] = 'Sea_Green';.

To enable an admin theme again, add the "compatibility" option with the correct version number inside the "config.xml" file for this theme.

Question themes

To make them compatible with a new version of LimeSurvey the compatibility tag in config.xml has to be updated, located in "NAME/survey/questions/answer/QUESTIONTYPENAME/config.xml" within the structure of the quesiton theme.
