&lt;div&gt;It is really hard to figure out the syntax for using regular expressions in validation. Simply pasting in the regular expression doesn&#039;t cut it and there is no explanation on either the general questions page or the Regular Expressions page.&lt;br /&gt;

Someone needs to show some examples. &lt;br /&gt;

I somehow found the syntax buried on another page, but I can&#039;t find it again. This is extremely frustrating.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
