Add Participant Fields was created by michaelji
Is is possible to add fields to the participant invitation or add participant screen. I would like to add their Company and Department and Survey type code.

Company in order to group them and the results
Department to further group them in the company
and Code to send them to the pieces of the survey the participant needs to take (i.e ABC or AC or BC - which branches them to parts or all of the Survey)

Hi, michaelji,

read this
manual.limesurvey.org/Survey_participants
in the manual, especially "user defined attribute fields".

First you define your additional attributes in "Survey participants / Manage Attributes".

When creating bew participants you see a second sheet called "additional attributes" where you enter the values.

Of course you can import by "*.csv"

In your survey you use these attributes as "TOKEN:ATTRIBUTE_1", "TOKEN:ATTRIBUTE_2",...

Best regards

How can we can add new fields for old surveys programmatically (PHP). Reason being, I am copying one survey to create new survey for the users. But for the old surveys which are already there I am thinking to add these fields if not present during creation of participants programmatically.
